Due to its high rate of fire, it can be used effectively at close range fight. But its low magazine size have to be considered. The MP40 has the least amount of accuracy compared to all SMG in the game, probably because it is a relic from the past.
Although the MP40 is deadly at close range fight, It is still very recommended to back away from shotgun users at close range.
The lack of attachment options hampers the performance of this sub-machine gun when compared to other SMGs like the MP5 or the UMP.
It is indeed a very deadly weapon at close range. The only cons that this SMG have is the lack of attachments.
